I won't take much time (hopefully)

So yes, I draw BL. I draw much more than what I post online. I don't post much of it because I don't want to upset people, but I've realized something now.

If you're upset by one of my drawings, it may be because of my non-existent anatomy skills, my crap colour sense, my cliche poses/concepts, I understand that. I will try to change that. I would and will apologize for that.

But not for drawing BL. I won't apologize for that, I won't change it.
If you can't understand that LOVE between two loving persons is NEVER something shameful, never something to be censored, never something to be disgusted by, it's YOUR problem, for being a close-minded person, NOT MINE.

I believe that everyone has the right to be happy, and what makes you happier than loving and being loved? Everyone has a right to love! And not be harassed for it!

Lately there has been an escalation of attacks to gay people in my country. Boys and girls my age beaten almost to death because they were seen holding hands with another boy/girl. I can't stand it! It's inhuman, it's horrible!

So when I've seen people around dA saying something against gays, I wanted to speak up, just to make clear where I stand.

If you feel like you have to be straight to adhere to your morals/religion, go on! I admire people with faith, I think they can find in faith a strength I will never have.

But you can't force your believe on others. You can't hurt others with your attitude just because you think you're trying to help them out of sin. You're knowingly hurting another person, who's the sinner then? The one who just wants to love the person his heart wants, or you trying to stop them?

Why can't people see that we're all PEOPLE before being female or male? Why does it matter so much? A small chromosome makes that much of a difference? We have the same heart and mind, the same soul, whether we have two X chromosomes or one X and one Y. I don't think it affects our hearts at all! And it's not what's physically outside that matters, it's what inside all of us that really is important!



I'm sorry I posted something unpleasant. But I felt like I had to take it off my chest.
Also, if anyone who has been subjected to harassment because of this is reading: STAY STRONG! I'm with you ♥ keep being who you are without fear!
